Statistically 1 in 3 new marriages will fail within 20 years. And if that doesn’t scare you try this: 4 out of 10 marriages will end in divorce.  So why try?  Why not avoid all risks and become a self-indulgent loner. So it came as no surprise when a friend of mine announced that he and his partner of 15 years were going to get divorced.
